Committee Profile

Amy Savage is the Manager of the Economic Development team in Townsville, with the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning. Amy has been working with industry in North Queensland for over 10 years and is passionate about growing the region through sector diversification and supporting local businesses to participate in major project supply chains.

Amy has worked on many regional projects across various sectors including social, defence and renewable energy. She has been involved in the project development, attraction and delivery of key projects including the NQ Stadium, the Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative and CopperString 2032, focusing on maximising regional community and industry benefits.
