The 2018 Developing Northern Australia Conference is almost here again and will this year be held at Alice Springs Convention Centre over Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 June. 

Ms Kerryn Smith, CEO at the  Australian Industry & Defence Network – Northern Territory (aidn-nt) joins us at the Conference to discuss ‘Getting Ready: The strength of working together in Defence!’


The Australian Industry and Defence Network – Northern Territory (AIDN-NT) will discuss in conjunction with a panel of experts the value of collaborating to strengthen the connections between Defence and Industry, Primes and Suppliers and Investors to Regions. Our panel will include representatives of Defence, a Multi-National Corporation (Prime) and an Investor in Energy Solutions.

Kerryn Smith CEO AIDN-NT Kerryn has recently taken up the role of CEO for the Australian Industry & Defence Network – Northern Territory (AIDN-NT)in 2017, and is focused on better connecting Defence and Industry. Having previously worked for over 24 years in SA within the local Defence and other industries, she has extensive experience in supplier development and workforce management and strives to improve their related industry capabilities and capacity. Kerryn has continued to play a leading role in ensuring that the Defence industry has a capable and high skilled, high tech Defence and related industry in Australia. To do so she works in close collaboration with industry, state and commonwealth stakeholders, and providing guidance and support at national level.
